Our cast of talented employees truly represents a unique and diverse blend of various cultures, beliefs and values, and we show just how easy it is to work together and truly represent the ‘Great American Melting Pot.’ Each member of the Natural Bridges team brings with them the desire to help people have fun, live and learn through entertainment and education, and to work together with towards a common goal of making a difference.
And because of our experience and education, and strong desire to succeed and help others, we will be able to make some outstanding programs, toys, and games, and to offer unique products and services that will truly help everyone “cross that natural bridge.”
WHAT IS NBTV? In this television series, Nutty the Squirrel is the station manager for "NBTV" and he's in charge of running the station. He has to make sure that everything runs smoothly and according to schedule, which most of the time it does not. Some of the shows that will be airing include The Human Hunter, Cooking with Moo-Leah, Science Gone Wild, The Melody Styles Show, and an enormous line-up of other interesting and unique shows, some of which may take off and some that will only air once.
Some of the regular "NBTV" station employees include Ricky, the crew chief and resident Sci-Fi fan; Bill Oh Really, the always hungry camera-bear and host of The Oh Really? Factor; Chad Evans, station co-owner and main reason why the station has so many problems; and Tiffany Thompson, anchor-dog for FNN and a wanna-be-a-movie-star who happens to be hopelessly in love with Nutty.
Nutty has to deal with constant technical difficulties, mainly caused station equipment that is outdated, circa 1945-1965, and also in part because Chad just can't stop "pressing the pretty buttons." If that weren't enough, Nutty also deals with employee issues, the lack of anything new at the station, and lots of other problems, one of which is making sure that the special guest stars (AKA Station Prisoners) are happy and working.
All of the music at the station is provided by Zak Black and the Station Breakers, which is conducted by Zak Black and features a wild group of musicians. We know that this all sounds kind of strange, but "NBTV" is really hilarious and unique. I mean where else can you see a rat playing a tuba, a cow giving cooking lessons, or turtles chasing after humans? We think you're going to enjoy "NBTV" and you'll end up giving it 'two paws up.'

Nutty was picked to be the Station Manager and Director during a public meeting about the station. When they asked for volunteers for the position no one was interested. Then Nutty came in and everyone pointed at him. And before he knew it, he got the job. He takes his job very seriously and puts a lot of effort into trying to make this station the best that it can be, despite the many problems that occur. He gets along well with everyone and is looked upon as a leader and person to go to with problems. When things really seem to be going wrong, Nutty gets excited and starts talking fast. He trusts his employees and lets them do their job, but sometimes needs to remind them of the correct way. Nutty also lives and works at Doc’s tree house, which is just outside of Larutan. He is a Registered Animal Technician (RAT) and speaks Animaleze (ability to speak all animal languages), a talent that he is most proud of. |

Steve Tuttle is the host of the very popular adventure show on NBTV called, “The Human Hunter,” which he hosts along with his wife Terri. Steve was hatched in Sydney Australia and after meeting Terri while she was visiting from Openeyes, he decided to emigrate from Australia and be with her. When he’s not busy chasing down annoying or lost humans, he works for the Openeyes Police Department and handles any security concerns at the station which happen from time to time. |
|
Chad Evans is one of the station owner’s grandkids, but never uses that to his advantage, mainly because he’s not too bright and forgets, or doesn’t really care. He is a bit clumsy and makes lots of mistakes, but he means well and tries his best to please Nutty and Bunny, who just so happens to be his older brother. Chad handles lots of odd jobs around the station (jobs that others don’t really want to do) and sometimes helps with selecting some of the new shows and programs that will air on NBTV, but has a tendency to pick really bad or stupid shows. |
|
Dr Von Strudel-nickel is the host of “Science Gone Wild,” an educational entertaining show on NBTV. He also helps out at the station by doing odd jobs that involve chemicals and science. He is originally from Austria and swears that he is good friends with Arnold Schwarzenegger. His family migrated from Austria to Larutan when he was a teenager and his twin brother is Dr Quack. Dr Von is very knowledgeable about science, but he sometimes can mess up an experiment by not following ALL of the directions or ingredients. |
|
Ricky serves as both the station’s Crew Chief and Stage Manager at NBTV, a job that can be very demanding, especially when dealing with lots of problems like Chad or Bunny. He handles his job with professionalism and goes out of his way to make sure that he doesn’t let Nutty down. When time permits, Ricky also is the host of FNN’s “Good News with Ricky,” a segment that reports only on good news. Ricky has a big crush on Greta and is always trying to ask her out or do things for her in the hopes that she’ll go out with him. |

Gladess is rather a free-spirit and seems to have never really left the 60’s or 70’s, primarily because she had so much fun and was involved in lots of activities and rallies. She co-host’s “Yesterday” and a few other ‘senior-related’ shows. Gladess comes from a rather wealthy background and has had a bit of plastic surgery over the years and swears that she is good friends with Joan Rivers, so handles most of the gossip shows at NBTV. Gladess is divorced and has 3 children and 2 grandchildren that all live overseas. |

Cora is 10 years old and the twin sister of Cory. She attends school and helps out at the station as an Intern performing tasks wherever she is needed. She is physically handicapped, having lost her right arm as a baby, but prefers to think of herself as being handicapable. Cora’s best friend is Combee and they hang out together at the station. She loves flowers, talking on the phone and playing with dolls, but she also enjoys reading classic tales of literature and poetry. Cora is very friendly and happy to be working at the station, and gets the job done. |
|
Cory is 10 years old and the twin brother of Cora. He likes to play games and have fun, and sometimes has to be reminded to do his homework. Cory doesn’t work at the station right now, as he’s too busy having fun and playing games, but he is allowed to hangout and sometimes gets into a little bit of mischief, especially when he’s around Bunny or Jimmy. He likes to rollerblade around the studio, slide down the stairs, practice Judo on Bill or Doc, and hanging out with his friends. |
|
Bill Oh Really? is the host of a news and talk show called oddly enough, “The Oh Really? Factor.” The show is all about topics that are important to Bill. He also works at NBTV as Camera Operator #1. Bill just LOVES to eat and is always hanging out around the cafeteria or looking around the studio for something to eat, which can be a problem especially when he is supposed to be doing something else, or eats something he shouldn’t. When not working at NBTV, he also works at the Openeyes Stock Exchange as a ‘stocks going down’ broker. |
|
George Child is the son of NBTV’s cooking host Moo-Leah Child and works at the station as Camera Operator #2, along with his best friend Bill Oh Really? George also co-hosts “The Farm Report,” an early morning news program that talks about farm-related issues. George is single and spends most of his time hanging out with Bill, as they pretty much do everything together. When George is not working at NBTV, he also works at the Openeyes Stock Exchange as a ‘stocks going up’ broker. |

Wixy is sort of a cross between a dog, a cat and a whatever, which ends up making her an unknown creature. Depsite not really knowing just exactly what she is, she is fine with it and loves being different. Wixy works at all sorts of jobs for NBTV including working in the Control booth as a tape editor, and can also be seen hosting “The Farm Report,” from time to time. She is in her 20’s and graduated from Openeyes College with an undecided degree because she loves to try everything and just couldn’t make up her mind. She still lives at home with her adopted family in Mysticville and is looking forward to her next big adventure, which she doesn’t really know what it is just yet. |
